Message of Chairman Al-Fajar Foundation
It gives immense pleasure to record my message on the eve of launching the web site of Al - Foundation.

Dawn has great importance in one's life. It is a symbol of hope and life. It gives fortitude to a person and motivates him to undertake struggle for life with a renewed zeal and zest. Taking the same inspiration from the dawn, a new welfare and philanthropic Foundation with the name of "Al-Fajar Foundation" has been established in Mingora, Swat. The very name of this foundation conveys the message of hoped optimism to the human being plagued with dreadful blood diseases like Thalassemia.

Gone are the days when for every matter we were looking to Government. In today's world, it is the responsibility of those segments that are relatively well in the society' to carry welfare work for their brothers and sisters. The role of government is a facilitator. Thalassemia is a horrible disease. It is an inherited disease and the patients are mostly children. This disease has very expensive treatment. Continuous blood transfusion patients with regular intervals are the only remedy. For this the family of the patients has to bear the additional pang, torture anti financial burden to carry their patient to far away cities for blood transfusion. With the blessings of Almighty Allah, our team felt its social obligations and took the onus of a Himalayan task on its shoulders and has established the name Al-Fajar Foundation in the city of Mingora, Swat.

The primary objectives of foundation is very well reflected in its motto to ''provide relief and share grief". It has started functioning and is providing free of cost blood to the flower like innocent Thalassemic children and is earning the prayers of their helpless family member for giving yet another life survival chance to their beloved kids. This task is very huge. The life of Al-Fajar is sustainable only when it will be continuously supported and contributed by the ALLAH fearing philanthropists both financially and with blood donations.
I will end my message with this earnest request of Al-Fajar Foundation that for noble cause.

Donate Blood generously…Contribute financially

Almighty Allah will surely reward you for this kindness and humanitarian act in this world and hereafter.

Thank you all.
Chairman
Al-Fajar Foundation Swat.

It is indeed an honor for me to write this message for the website of Al-fajar Trust which is established for a noble cause of welfare of human society in general and poor and needy in special.
The Quran puts a remarkable stress and emphasis on social welfare as a basic value and posses a revolutionary approach towards solving human problems. Islam not only stresses upon the love for Allah (swt) but also the love for fellow human beings whom should be treated as a part of an extended human family. Allah (swt) says in Sura Almaida 5 verse 32... "And whoever saved one (man) should be (treated) as if he had saved all the human beings".

I request all those who receive message to get involved in this noble work of Al-fajar Foundation and urge to continue with supporting this Foundation with vigor and enthusiasm; in return Allah (swt) will reward them all in this world and the hereafter and will place blessings in their health and wealth... InshaAllah.

Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" Al Quran 2/274.

In the end I give you a golden rule and precious saying "No involvement No commitment "This means that if you are not involved in this work you are not committed to this noble work.

I again request you all to continue helping Al Fajar Foundation for the help of helpless with your help to provide a happy, healthy and secure future of our children with Thalassemia. I can assure that your involvement will make a real difference to the lives of so many. To do this we need your moral, material and practical support. The future performance of the trust will depend on your assistance and Cooperation.

I pray to Allah (swt) for His guidance and to give us strength to involve actively in this noble work of Al-Fajar Foundation... Aameen and Allah Hafiz!

Dr. Ali Jan
I feel delighted to give my opinion on the august center that is really the first ray of hope in the lives of poor people. Thalassemia is a disease that causes extreme grief, high tension and great economic burden to the whole family. Thalassemics need blood transfusion every other week or at the most every month. It was the daily routine of mothers and grand mothers with their thalassemic little ones on their arms begging for blood and often selling their earrings for the blood bags.

"Al-fajar" is really, as its name suggests, the dawn of hope for the needy ones and will go along way to assuage the sufferings of the poor families.

We earnestly wish that the center be adorned with great success and all the concerned be rewarded in this world and the next.
